— Are there topics you never write about? This workshop focuses on what we would normally hide from others and finding the courage to write about taboo topics.


The Writer's Odyssey
— A workshop for professionals and writers who would like to learn to think “out of the box” and use that thinking in everyday life. Full or half day workshops. Fees vary depending upon length of workshop.


Remembering and Forgetting: Using the Material of Your Life or Observation to Create Stories
— a three hour workshop (can be expanded into a half or full day workshop).


Thinking Like a Writer
— A unique approach to engaging reluctant writers. This workshop is for middle school to high school students. Full and half day workshops are available.


Note: Day long or weekend retreats can be arranged. Workshops and retreats can be customized to meet the needs of any group. One-on-one consultations are also possible.

Lisa holds a BA in English and an MFA in Creative Writing with concentrations in pedagogy and literacy. Lisa also holds an MA in Counseling Psychology.
